I had a wonderful birthday yesterday, although it is morphing into a birthday week rather than a day. It started on Monday with lunch with my mum and sister and last night with my husband, daughter and her life long friend whom we love as a son. It was my daughter's choice to go to Cliche in North Adelaide. It has only been open 5 months but even on a Tuesday night it was full.
The decor is eclectic with some very interesting art on the walls.
The food is french inspired and it was very, very good.

scollops as an entre |
Lobster in crepes as an entre |
Pork sliders as an entre |
A beautiful rich, flinty red from Langhorne Creek in South Australia |
Lamb as a main |
Spatchcock as a main |
Lobster thermidor as a main |
Slow cooked beef with kale as a main |
And after all that, we just couldn't fit dessert in. What a pity.

And some beautiful flowers, cards and gifts.

Thank you to everyone for your posts and birthday messages.
Feeling blessed.
