While living in Brisbane for just over a year from 2013 to 2014, we rented an apartment overlooking the Brisbane River and the city. There was a very cute little ferry that use to take us across the river from where we could either catch the city-cat ferry into the CBD, wander the Newfarm Gardens or go to one of the many cafes and restaurants in Newfarm.
The verandah was a great place to watch the passing river traffic or experience the spectacular lightning shows when a thunderstorm was in full throttle. We could have done with a few pot plants on the balcony.

The apartment was very modern and we furnished it rather sparsely. I did put up some paintings and mirrors but unfortunately I didn't take any photos of these!
We hung a very large round copper coloured mirror about this table.
Anyway, you get the idea.
Enough of Brisbane. Back to Adelaide tomorrow.

Yes.. we use to take the ferry all the time. Got to know the ferry drivers really well. It was a cute way to get around.
