Melbourne Street in North Adelaide is one of the many "high streets" or shopping strips set within the suburbs in Adelaide. These strips are home to pubs, restaurants, cafes, boutiques and small businesses like chemists, butchers, ice cream shops, fruit and vegetables etc.
The Old Lion Hotel is one of the very popular pubs in Adelaide. It has been extensively refurbished with both restaurant dining and front bar service.
This morning I had breakfast at The Store in Melbourne Street with a good friend. It was great to catch up over breakfast. I had the poached eggs on toasted ciabatta with spinach and beetroot/ ricotta mash.
My friend had feta and avocado on toasted ciabatta with lime.
